Another milestone reached inside the building.
The progress inside Chayala’s Mikva keeps moving forward, and this month brought two exciting steps: sheetrock is up throughout the building, and the first lighting fixtures are beginning to go in.
With the walls now sheetrocked, the rooms are finally starting to look and feel like real spaces — no more open framing, no more exposed insulation. Just smooth walls ready for the finishes that will make each room warm and welcoming. Alongside the sheetrock, electricians have begun installing lighting fixtures, and it’s incredible to see light fill spaces that were, not long ago, just studs and wire.
Every step brings this building closer to what it will become — a beautiful, dignified place for women to come on their most meaningful nights.
Thank you, as always, to everyone whose support makes this progress possible. We’re getting closer, room by room.
